THE ORIGIN OF PORTLAND
The name Portland has its roots in one of the early London projects that shaped Ben McNally’s professional career.
Portland Road London, was a multi-million-pound, six-floor townhouse refurbishment in the Chelsea and Kensington area, involving intricate detailing, high-end finishes and a demanding standard of execution.
Working on a project of this scale provided exposure to the quality, detail, coordination and commercial discipline required on high-value refurbishment projects.
That experience continues to influence the way Portland approaches its work today — from commercial control and project management to quality, coordination and attention to detail.
The standards developed through involvement in multi-million-pound projects set the benchmark for every project Portland undertakes, regardless of scale.
Portland Fitout was established to bring together experienced people, strong commercial management and a disciplined approach to project delivery, operating across London, Northern Ireland & ROI.
The name Portland is more than a name. It represents the experience and standards on which the company was built.
